Implant-supported dentures
A denture that does not slip when you talk
If the plate moves when you speak or eat, implants can help it stay. This is not the same as a separate implant for every tooth.
A plan starts with an examination.
Is this you?
- Your denture slips when you speak or eat
- Adhesive is part of every day
- You want more hold without replacing every tooth with its own implant
- Chewing or talking makes the plate move
- You are not sure if a removable or fixed option is right
What this can change
The aim is a denture that stays more secure than one that rests on the gums alone.
How many implants are used, and whether the denture comes out, is not the same for every mouth.
What happens at Y Smile
01
Describe what the denture does now
Book a consult and tell us when it slips — talking, eating, or both. Bienvenidos. English or Spanish.
02
Examination
Bone, bite, and the smile you want decide whether implants can help this denture, and how.
03
Removable or fixed, decided in person
We will not choose that from a website form. If treatment is appropriate, hold and appearance are planned together.
Which path may fit
Implant-supported denture
Clips or fixes to implants so the denture stays more secure.
Full-mouth implants
A full-arch plan when most or all teeth need to be replaced with a new set of teeth.
A denture on the gums alone
No implants. Some people manage. If slipping is the problem, this is usually the path you already have.
Questions about this treatment
Is this the same as a full-mouth implant plan?
No. Implant-supported dentures use implants to hold a denture. A full-arch implant plan replaces most or all teeth another way. We compare after an examination.
Will the denture still come out?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Removable versus fixed is a clinical decision after we have seen your mouth.
Does insurance help?
We work with most PPO dental plans and work with patients to maximize reimbursement for covered procedures. We verify your benefits before your appointment so coverage is clear and billing discrepancies are less likely. Financing is available. Medicaid does not cover cosmetic or implant care.
Can you tell me the plan from this form?
No. Treatment is recommended only after an examination. Book a consult and we will look.
